Member Registration Fees

You must be an existing fully paid-up member of either the Econometric Society (ES) or the New Zealand Association of Economists (NZAE) in order to qualify for the membership registration fee. 

ES Membership

You will need a current membership number to obtain member rates. This will be printed on your ES renewal notice as your "Customer Number". To confirm your customer number, visit the Econometric Society membership site.

LSE alumni reception (hosted by the Wellington LSE Alumni Group)

The Wellington LSE alumni group invites all LSE alumni, current and former staff and their partners attending the Phillips symposium to a gala reception on the evening of Tuesday 8 July, 2008.

This will be a great opportunity to network with LSE alumni from New Zealand and celebrate the life of Bill Phillips.

The reception will be held in the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Museum which holds a working version of Bill Phillips' Moniac machine.  Other memorabilia of Bill Phillips' life will also be on display.  

Refreshments and food will be available and entertainment will be provided.  Tickets are $40.00 and are payable with symposium registration.

Conference Dinner

Join colleagues for dinner. The evening speaker is Dr Alan Bollard, Governor, Reserve Bank of New Zealand, New Zealand speaking on Bill Phillips: Memories and Reflections on his Contribution to Economics.

Payment by cheque or bank draft: Payment can be made by a personal cheque drawn on a New Zealand bank, or a New Zealand dollar bank draft. Cheque payments must be made payable to The Phillips Conference Ltd

Confirmation of your registration and a tax invoice will be sent upon receipt of your registration form form and fees.

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your registration for any reason, you may reassign your registration to another person.  Please notify The Conference Company of the replacement delegate’s name and contact details.

If you are unable to arrange a replacement, your registration fees will be refunded, less an administration charge of $50.00, until 6 June 2008.

From 7 June 2008 to 22 June 2008, the conference organisers will refund 75% of the registration fees.   No refunds will be given after 25 June 2008.

If, for reasons beyond the control of the Organising Committee, the Conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after the deduction of expenses already incurred.
